For the past 42 years, Lower Cape Outreach Council has been dedicated to providing short-term emergency food, clothing and financial assistance to residents of the 8 towns that constitute Lower Cape Cod: Brewster, Chatham, Eastham, Harwich, Orleans, Provincetown, Truro, and Wellfleet.

Food Pantry
Our clients have regular access to one of the nine food pantries within the towns we serve. Our clients have access to fresh produce, meat, non-perishable items and so much more.
Financial Assistance
Financial assistance is available to qualified applicants for payments of essential household services including electricity, heat, rent/mortgage payments, insurance, medical and prescription drug expenses, and transportation.
Katy’s Korner
Katy’s Korner, located at LCOC Center at 19 Brewster Cross Road in Orleans collects and distributes donations of quality clothing and bedding. The shop is arranged so that clients can select items they need for themselves and family members.
LCOC offers several special seasonal client programs that address increased needs during the colder months and holiday season. Together, these seasonal programs provide hope and help reduce financial pressure on households at times of year when expenses often rise, while also supporting family stability, nutrition, warmth, and community connection.
Operation Warm
In partnership with Operation Warm®, LCOC distributes new winter, weatherproof coats to children and adults who might otherwise
go without adequate protection from the cold.
Thanksgiving Meal Distribution
The annual LCOC Thanksgiving meal distribution provides local families with a turkey, traditional holiday fixings, and fresh seasonal produce to prepare a complete holiday meal with dignity.
Santa Stop
The LCOC Santa Stop holiday toy distribution program, offered in partnership with Toys for Tots and Homeless for the Holidays, ensures that children receive quality, age-appropriate gifts during the holiday season.
